Who We Are
We’re Carl and Susannah
A husband and wife team based in Chester.
Carl brings years of trade and restoration experience and Susannah brings an eye for texture, tone and atmosphere. Together, we create spaces that feel thoughtful, lived-in, and quietly beautiful.
Every piece, from the furniture to the lighting to the blankets on the sofa, is chosen to evoke warmth, comfort and a sense of being looked after.
Where We Are
We currently host guests in two locations:
• Chester City Centre
A design-led townhouse within the city walls. Perfect for exploring, dining out and feeling part of the buzz of Chester.
• Westminster Park
A calm, family-friendly home on the leafy edge of the city, close to green spaces, local cafés and a slower pace of life.
Each property offers something a little different, but both share the same Emberkey feel: warm, relaxed, and beautifully considered.
